The Loop pendant is a simple lamp from a single piece of Italian vegetable tanned leather.
The lamps are all hand made and formed on a custom made 20 tonne press.
Each lamp comes with 2 metres of linen cable (plus .5m in the loop), a brass strain relief, and a leather tie. Includes a matte black ceiling rose.

Due to the nature of leather, each lamp has its own individual markings and texture and will change colour over time.
As the leather adjusts to different environments, the shape may also change slightly.
Isaac Francis of IE Francis is a Melbourne based industrial designer. His work is strongly process and material driven, drawing inspiration from many traditional craft processes. Working as a boot-maker in his early days, he gained a strong understanding of leather and this has translated into his products. He's also just a really cool bloke!
